Our Story

Fia Restaurant & Mr. B. Bar

Located in The Burgess Hotel, Fia Restaurant is a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant inspired by the rustic cooking of the Western Mediterranean. Fia specializes in prime meats, seafood, and vegetables, that are infused with regional flavors and cooked on a wood-fired grill. House made pastas and shareable sides of the season’s freshest local produce round out the menu created by Owner/Chef Burges Jokhi and Chef Daniel Porubiansky, in collaboration with Apicii Hospitality Group.

The hotel’s majestic craft cocktail bar, Mr. B., pays homage to fine spirits and iconic drinks. The bar is also a tribute to Keki Bunshah, Freny Jokhi’s father, who led the first Indian Expedition to Mt. Everest. Toast Keki’s accomplishments and take inspiration from the beautiful photographs that he took which are displayed throughout the bar and library.

The Burgess Hotel

The Burgess Hotel is the realization of a lifelong dream by owners Burges and Freny Jokhi. 

Born and raised abroad, both are world travelers, who longed to share the story of their travels and their lives through hospitality. Their vision came to life, with The Burgess Hotel, Fia Restaurant and Mr B. Bar, which convey different experiences through the design, décor, ambiance and cuisine. Burges and Freny Jokhi welcome you to an extension of their home.
